Positive Outlook as Singapore’s Economy Grows 2.9% in Q3
Singapore’s economy expanded by 2.9% in the third quarter of 2025, easing from the revised 4.5% growth recorded in the previous quarter, according to advance estimates from the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) released on Oct 14. Stay Alert: Scammers Masquerading as Police or Government Officials
If you receive a call from someone claiming to be a police officer or a government official from IMDA or AGC, be alert — it could be an impersonation scam.
According to a joint statement by the police and IMDA on Oct 14, such cases have been increasing in recent weeks.
