IRAS announced that over 4,700 companies were prosecuted in 2023 for late or non-filing of tax returns, with penalties exceeding S$4.9 million. CPF Special Accounts for Those 55 and Above to Close from January after Bill Passes
The Central Provident Fund (CPF) Special Accounts (SA) for those aged 55 and older will be closed from the second half of January next year after a law was passed on Monday (Oct 14).
